Bible study is suspended for December and will resume in January.

BIBLE STUDY

God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.
— Hebrews 4:12-13 The Message
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
— 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV

The apostle Paul said we are transformed through the renewal of our minds. (See Romans 12:2.) We renew our minds by applying them to worthy topics and activities. (See Philippians 4:8.) Jesus noted that the knowledge of truth will set us free. (See John 8:32.) The aim of study for a Christian goes beyond the human desire for information and knowledge to seek the deeper transformation of our hearts and lives - spiritual wisdom and the mind of Christ.

Studying God’s word through the scriptures found in the Bible is an integral and important part of our Journey with Christ. It is also a large part of who we are at North Fork UMC. Come join us on this exciting journey.

Bible study is being held now in person and by ZOOM. Come join us at the church or online.
